MANCHESTER UNITED and Arsenal have seen their values plummet – with Liverpool on the verge of becoming the most valuable club in the Premier League.
The Red Devils saw their value drop by £ 143 million, while the Gunners depreciated by £ 150 million.

Meanwhile, Liverpool – the new champions – have seen their value rise by £ 64 million as they approach United’s fierce rivals.
The Reds have risen to fourth place in the ranking of the world’s most valuable clubs, according to the Brand Finance Review.
Man Utd marginally follows, with Real Madrid and Barcelona the leaders on the run.
Although he is still sitting at no. 1, Los Blancos has seen over £ 200m drop its value.

Barcelona, despite losing the LaLiga title to Real, saw a small boost of £ 18.1 million.
Manchester City slipped to fifth place in the league after its worth hit £ 118 million.
The German Bayern Munich champions were the biggest losers in the top ten, as their value plummeted by £ 233 million.
Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham – seventh and ninth respectively – made small gains.
But Chelsea (- £ 17 million) and Arsenal have seen their value take on real clubbing.

The huge slip of Man Utd shouldn’t be surprising.
In May, their debt was revealed to have gone up from £ 127.4 million to £ 429 million due to the crippling effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
With United worthy of falling, Liverpool now stands just £ 57 million behind their local opponents in their bid to become England’s most valuable team.
