Lithuanian basketball star Sabonis forced to leave Orlando “bubble” due to injury

An ESPN viewer reports that a Lithuanian in Orlando has left to treat her left leg plantar fasciitis.

The team leader has played with an injury before. Sabonis himself has expressed a desire to return to Orlando, but this season may be over for him.

In the final part of the season, “Pacers” may not be helped by Victor Oladipo, who is with the club in Orlando, but still has not given a final answer regarding the game. He did take part in the first test match against Portland’s Trail Blazers on Thursday.

Sabonis previously signed a four-year contract with Pacers for $ 75 million (approximately $ 64.3 million). The new contract will take effect from the 2020/21 season.

This season, the Lithuanian has scored an average of 18.5 points in the game, won 12.4 rebounds and made five assists.

Saboni was also selected for the first time this year to participate in the All-Star Game.

Another unit in New Orleans, Pelicans, reports that one of its leaders, Zion Williamson, has returned to Orlando and left the bubble last week with family permission.

Williamson has already performed several tests on Covid-19 and all of them have turned out to be negative. It is planned that he will spend four more days in quarantine, but after that he will be involved in training.

The Pelicans’ first match is due on June 30 against the Utah Jazz, but it is not yet known whether the talented basketball player will be able to go on the field.
