Leicester beat Sheffield United 2-0 on Thursday to remain fourth in the league, ahead of fifth place for Manchester United, who won 2-0 at Crystal Palace.

The last two games of the Foxes season are at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and at home on Manchester United on the final day.

All three missed the Blades victory, but manager Brendan Rodgers said their injuries would put them aside for the rest of the campaign, while Marc Albrighton (hip) is also in doubt.

“James and Ben won’t play for the rest of the season, and Marc is in doubt about the weekend, but he may be available for Manchester United,” Rodgers told reporters.

“Christian won’t be involved now for the rest of the season. He may actually be 12-14 weeks out. He was in and around his crotch.”

Leicester already has Ricardo Pereira out of an injury while central defender Caglar Soyuncu is suspended for the final games.

“We have some injuries, we were just unlucky. That’s where we are,” said Rodgers.
