Igor Kokoskov, assistant coach of Sacramento Kings, agreed in principle to become the next Istanbul Fenerbahce manager, ESPN sources said.
Kokoskov was the coach of the Phoenix Suns in 2018-19 and is currently the Serbian national coach.
Kokoskov was Luke Walton’s best assistant with Kings.
As a Slovenian coach, he was part of the EuroBasket title in 2017 with Luka Doncic in the lead.
Kokoskov replaces the legendary Zeljko Obradovic with Fenerbahce.
