The Premier League ended only last week, but we hope you are ready for an absolute football party starting tomorrow.
This is because August is chock full of quality football to celebrate while we wait for the new home season to begin.
Kicks off on Saturday as Chelsea and Arsenal meet in the English Cup final.
Sunday will see the National League playoff final between Harrogate Town and Notts County.
There is another playoff final on August 4th. This time it’s the championship with Fulham and Brentford looking to earn promotion to the Premier League.
This will end the English football season.
So it’s time for European football.
The following day, the Europa League will return with eight games over two days, such as Manchester United, the Wolves, Inter Milan, Sevilla, Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and the Rangers who want to move on to the next round.
After two days of action in the Europa League, we are sure you will be ready for two days of football in the Champions League.
On August 7, Juventus / Lyon and Man City / Real Madrid finish their last 16 draws. The next day – a Saturday – Bayern Munich / Chelsea and Barcelona / Naples play their part.
Sunday 9 August there is no football to watch! What a disgrace.
But then there are TEN STRAIGHT DAYS of football.
The tenth and eleventh will feature two Europa League quarter-finals each.
Atalanta vs PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals takes place on 12 August, while RB Leipzig vs Atletico Madrid occupies on 13 August.
A potential quarter-final between Barcelona and Bayern Munich is on the 14th, while the 15th could present a clash between Man City and Juventus.
