European Golden Shoe: Immobile Parallel to Lewandowski

Ciro Immobile and Cristiano Ronaldo are competing in the race for the top scorers in the Serie A Italian league, which leaves two matches to play.

Immobile leads at the top with 34 goals, after inciting a hat-trick when Lazio won 5-1 over Hellas Verona at Marc Antonio Bentegodi in Week 36 of Serie A, Monday (7/27/2020), early morning hrs.

The 30-year-old striker moved away from Ronaldo, who was only able to add one goal when Juventus won 2-0 over Sampdoria. This victory alone ensured the Bianconeri embraced the Scudetto.

With 34 Immobile goals level with Robert Lewandowski in the hunt for the European Golden Boot title. But Immobile still has two matches to play against Brescia and Napoli.
