Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell has not yet returned to Orlando, and will likely not face the Lakers

Montrezl Harrell has not yet returned to the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to miss the Los Angeles Clippers’ reboot against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, a confirmed source at ESPN.

The Clippers will already be reignless of the sixth man of the year Lou Williams, who is in the midst of a 10-day quarantine after leaving the NBA campus with a justified absence. Harrell left the bubble on July 17 to strive for an apologized family emergency and his return remains in the air.

Yahoo Sports reported for the first time that Harrell is unlikely to face the Lakers.

Point guard Patrick Beverley returned on Sunday and entered quarantine after leaving Orlando on a family emergency apology. Clippers’ coach Doc Rivers said he considered Beverley a “maybe” when asked about the status of the top guard for playing in the first seeding game against the Lakers.

The Clippers are expected to have Ivica Zubac and Landry Shamet after they both arrived in Orlando on Saturday and cleared the quarantine. Zubac, the starting center, and Shamet, a reserve guard, both said they tested positive for COVID-19 in Los Angeles.
