Washington Nationals infielder Carter Kieboom is expected to start third base “immediately.”
What does it mean:
According to manager Davey Martinez, Kieboom is sketched as the third base of Washington’s first rope after citizens have lost valuable depths of knowledge with Ryan Zimmerman’s recent opt-out. Expect Asdrubal Cabrera to replace Kieboom if the 22-year-old struggles early in the season.
Kieboom’s annual showing includes a .203 batting average with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs in 123 total at-bats.
