It definitely means that some players are on loan with the Blues boss, who has already flexed his muscles in the summer transfer window.

Kepa Arrizabalaga, for example, observes the shadow of the goalkeeper who was brought to Stamford Bridge for a world record figure, while Andreas Christensen was again bullied in the defeat of the Blades.

“Marina must increase the offer”

Chelsea fans have been driven mad following Said Benrahma’s most impressive performances.

The Brentford star raised his league goal count to 17 on Saturday after scoring twice in his away team’s 3-1 victory away to Derby County.

Chelsea have been strongly linked to the wing, said to be worth £ 22.5 million.

This led some Blues fans to ask the club to increase their offerings and make sure they drop the attacker next season.

Abraham explains Frank’s reaction

Tammy Abraham claims that Frank Lampard did not hold back when he gave his assessment of the defeat of Sheffield United to his Chelsea team.

Lampard was clearly angry in his post-game interviews and the Blues striker Abraham revealed that that too was taken to the locker room.

“He let us know how he felt after the game,” Abraham said of Lampard’s reaction through the club’s internal media channel.

“We entered the locker room and we already knew each other, so there wasn’t much to say for him.

“We didn’t start the game decisively, but you have to give Sheffield United credit for the way they stopped the way we wanted to play. They scored an opening goal that frustrated us and we didn’t react.

“In games like this we know that we can’t start slowly and that’s what we did. They achieved an initial goal that pushed them to perform well.

“We changed our line-up halfway through and played a little better, but by then we had already made some mistakes and had scored two goals.”
