Can we talk about Rafa Nadal’s new yacht? (Including interior photos) – 2oceansvibe news

If you are here, you have accepted to chat on Rafa Nadal’s new yacht.

Please sign on the dotted and initial line here, here and here.

Last July, it emerged that Rafa Nadal was scourging his yacht, Beethoven, listing the Italian-made 76-foot motor yacht MCY 76 for $ 3 million.

Don’t be silly – he didn’t go without yachts like a town, ordering a custom 80-foot Sunreef Power catamaran, with the company promising it would be built and delivered later this year.

According to Robb’s report, Nadal received the yacht earlier this month, just in time for his 34th birthday:

The ultra-modern multihull, custom designed for Nadal and his wife Maria, combines five-star comfort with exceptional navigability. Built in composite, the cat sports an elegant silhouette and clean lines that are synonymous with the Polish shipyard.

The 80ft is an all-round pleasure boat that is perfect for long offshore cruises. It features powerful propulsion in the form of two 1,200 hp engines and can reach a top speed of 24 knots or a cruising speed of 14 knots. But it’s the inside where things get exciting.

Yes, we enter the bowels of this catamaran.

Those beanbags or those sofas or some strange combination of the two? Either way, the yacht looks nice.

More on its distinctive features:

The yacht’s generous living space spans nearly 4,000 square feet and represents one of the largest in the class. It has been completely customized for the tennis professional without charge. Finished in an elegant cream, coffee and beige color scheme, the interior includes an impressive salon on the main deck which has direct access to the front terrace, luxury guest cabins complete with private bathroom and an impressive master suite. Suitable for the royalty of tennis, the suite has a luxurious internal bathroom and a side balcony where the Spaniard can work on his tan.

Elsewhere on the ship, there is a large flybridge with a fully equipped wet bar, a barbecue and a sizeable relaxation area with necessary sun loungers. There is also a large aft garage where Rapha can store her jet skis and water toys (or her beloved tennis rackets).

We don’t call him Rapha, we call him Rafa. Come now.

Reports on the cost of the yacht range from $ 5 million to $ 6.2 million, but I have a feeling it may have gotten a discount because of the press coverage that Sunreef has received.

Given that Forbes estimates his earnings for 2020 at $ 40 million, he would be more than able to pay if he did.
