Erling Haaland is on vacation in Norway. There, the BVB star pursues activities that are not exactly typical for football professionals. A visit to a discotheque had to be. Then there is an announcement from his father.
Dhe Bundesliga goes on vacation. And the players let their followers on Instagram participate with pictures from the supposedly most beautiful time of the year. Snapshots of beaches, yachts and pools – these are expected snapshots that the professionals post. Erling Haaland is an exception.
While half the league seems to be on Mykonos, the 19-year-old BVB striker has traveled to his Norwegian homeland. Haaland does not spend his free time in the sea, but in a river. There he poses with a chainsaw in his hand and tells his Instagram fans: “Winter is approaching, let’s chop some wood.”
But his vacation is obviously not just about being in harmony with nature. The British Daily Mail reports that Haaland flew out of a nightclub and then started a vocal argument with the bouncer.
16 goals in 18 games for BVB
A video shows how the security employee leads Haaland away from the club. The 19-year-old then starts gesturing and discussing. When the bouncer leaves, Haaland obviously gets angry and yells at him. The striker has to be restrained, but then quickly gives up and leaves the location.
Haaland’s father Alfie immediately made an announcement to his son via Twitter: “Back to work. The nightlife in the big city is not for you. “
Haaland only switched from RB Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund in January. The beefy striker hit BVB immediately. In league, cup and champions league he scored 16 goals for Borussia in 18 games and gave three assists. Haaland has a contract with BVB until 2024, which should include an exit clause with a transfer fee of 75 million euros.
