Bulls Assistant Coach Interviewing for Knicks Head Coaching Job

The New York Knicks are interviewing tons of candidates for their vacancy as head coach, which is nothing new for anyone. However, Yahoo Sports ‘Chris Haynes today reported that Chicago Bulls’ main assistant, Chris Fleming, will be one of the candidates Knicks will interview.

Fleming has experience as a coach since his time with the German clubs QTSV and Brose. He started working as an NBA manager in 2015 as an assistant to the Denver Nuggets. He later worked as an assistant for the Brooklyn Nets from 2016-2019 before becoming the main assistant in Chicago.

While it may be difficult to believe that anyone in this terrible Chicago Bulls team staff could qualify for a head coaching concert, Fleming has had incredible success in Germany and is considered a great offensive mind throughout the league. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls still seem content to relax with Jim Boylen on the bench. Check for updates as this situation develops.
