The aspiring 23-year-old star added the latest victim to his insane record by dismantling Eric Moon and increasing his career record to 14-0.

However, what makes the record all the more impressive is the fact that Berlanga won every single fight through knockout and everyone got into the opening round.

Moon wanted to put him on his heels by walking over the ring, but after an early attack, it didn’t take long for Berlanga to turn.

When he pushed him against the ropes, an experienced, skillful step of quickly pulling down his opponent’s gloves left an opening for a monstrous right hand that Moon dropped onto the canvas less than 60 seconds after the fight began.

“It was another intensified fight for me,” said Berlanga afterwards. “We were preparing to go for a lap, but I injured him and got him out of there.

“I still have so much room to grow as a fighter. The power is there, but I’ll show everyone that I’m a versatile fighter. The knockout series is cool, but I have more to offer than knockout games in the first round. “

The recent devastating finish has drawn the attention of the boxing world and the eye of several superstar athletes.

Berlanga is now fifth behind the list of the most successful co-placements in the first round behind Young Otto (16), Edwin Valero (18), Tyrone Brunson (19) and Ali Raymi (21).
