Borussia Dortmund reveals plans to replace Manchester United goal Jadon Sancho

Borussia Dortmund sports director Michael Zorc admitted that they are targeting further additions to their team in case Jadon Sancho leaves the club.

MEN Sport understands that the England national team remains Manchester United’s transfer priority this summer despite the financial impact of COVID-19 on the transfer market.

Sancho scored 17 goals and recorded 16 assists in the Bundesliga this term, making him one of the most sought-after attackers in all of Europe.

Dortmund are not actively trying to sell the 20-year-old, but are aware that there is still a possibility that he will leave if his asking price is reached.

Zorc has admitted that the club is targeting new attackers in case Sancho leaves the club this summer. When asked about Sancho and a potential departure, Zorc said kicker : “If Jadon leaves, we will do something in the offensive area again.

“There are certainly one or two players we are targeting.”

“When you don’t have a billionaire or a state to support you, then you need to be careful about how you will invest your money,” said Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzketold Kicker on Bellingham.

“We don’t have an end date per crown, without that we simply don’t have any planning security. If we were to sell Sancho, each player will cost € 5-10 million more. We have nothing to give away.”
