The 25-year-old continues: “The crowd helps me in duels, makes me a bit more agile and robust. Not only on the ground in one-on-one, but also in the air when playing a header. ”

In the interview, Goretzka reveals how he trained. During the lockdown, he completed many dumbbell and barbell sessions in addition to cyber training. He also pays more attention to his diet, eats less meat and is almost exclusively gluten-free.
