The Argentine talent reached the goal of 20 goals and 20 assists in the season in the match of the team with Real Valladolid helping the goal of Arturo Vidal in 15 minutes. Nobody has ever done it – not Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane or any of the world-class players who have won the Spanish league.

It’s a pretty absurd statistic if you really think about it. A season of 20 goals for a player is fantastic. Likewise, a season of 20 assists is rare and has only occurred once. Messi’s former teammate Barca, Xavi, did it 11 years ago. He ended the season with 20, so Messi should break it. Reaching 20 in one season is just out of this world, just like Messi.
As usual, he has been Barca’s best player for over a decade and has his team in the middle of the title fight. Barca must win this game to go back to the point of Real Madrid, which came in the lead with four points.
