Australian Club thanks Nick Kyrgios for his extraordinary efforts – EssentiallySports

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people around the world have been affected. This is why there have been many fundraisers to support those who face problems. An Australian club was trying to do it, but they found themselves in trouble. Nick Kyrgios helped them and now they have shown their appreciation for the tennis player – look what they said!

Nick Kyrgios helped fundraising COVID-19

In a recent Facebook post, the Surfers Stingray Swimming Club thanked Nick Kyrgios for their help with their fundraising efforts. In the post, they wrote,

“A BIG THANKS TO NICK KYRGIOS. A few months ago we sent a letter to Nick Kyrgios asking for assistance in solving our COVID-1 fundraising problems. We kindly asked if he had anything he could donate to our wire cutters. It was a serious blow to the stumps … but last week a package arrived at the Surf Club with special delivery. Well, our favorite tennis player is now Nick, since he took the trouble to send a pink and black signed shirt (worn at the Australian Open), black shorts, a signed cap and a “good luck” for our collection of funds “on our original letter … We will have everything framed and auction this precious donation. NICK YOU ARE A CHAMPION “

For some time now, Nick Kyrgios has been asking everyone to take the virus seriously and has also criticized other players who haven’t. So it shouldn’t be surprising that he is doing everything he can to help people during this pandemic.

While the Australian helps people during this pandemic, he also thinks of something else: the return of tennis. ATP has recently revised the calendar for 2020 and professional events will begin in August.

The Australian hasn’t talked about what events he will play. But it is likely that it will not sound at the US Open as the “selfish” organizers called it for hosting the event. But we hope to see him play in other events and win some great titles in the process!
