Aubameyang Carved History at Arsenal


Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang carved his name in the Arsenal history sheet. Aubameyang inspired Arsenal to a landslide victory over Norwich City 4-0.

Andy Cole still holds the fastest record by scoring 50 goals in 65 appearances, followed by Alan Shearer (66), Ruud van Nistelrooy (68), then Fernando Torres and Mohamed Salah (72).


Goals against Norwich didn’t just create nicks for Aubameyang. This moment also means that Aubameyang ended the fast of goals suffered in four matches.

Now Aubameyang has recorded a total of 19 goals to enliven the competition for the 2019/2020 Golden Boot. Aubameyang topped the list of top scorers with Jamie Vardy (Leicester City), ahead of Southampton bomber Danny Ings (18), and last season’s Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah (17).
