Arsenal have planned a formation against Norwich while Mikel Arteta aims for vital points in the Premier League

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been taking care of his first home game since football kicked off Wednesday night when Norwich City visited the Emirates.

And Arteta is expected to bring some great players back into the team as the Gunners try to punish the underside of the Premier League to kick off a late push for European seats.

After two straight defeats in their return to action following the football’s forced break, Arsenal was most recently boosted by a league victory in Southampton last week, followed by the FA Cup quarter-final victory against Sheffield United.

With Arteta’s team taking on tenth position in the Premier League tonight and nine points in the top six, the FA Cup currently seems to be the easiest way to reach Europe.

However, with Manchester City and then Manchester United or Chelsea standing on the fourteenth FA Cup, it is still a fairly high order.

So everything must be launched in one last push in the standings in the last seven games of Arsenal, starting with the visit to the Canaries.

So, Arteta should Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Eddie Nketiah could return to lead the Gunners’ assignment tonight.

Alexandre Lacazette could take the bench after playing the Blades on Sunday, with the Arsenal boss who seems to prefer the promising young prospect Nketiah.

The manager looks ready to remain with three behind him after the Gunners have looked firmer against Sheffield United – although David Luiz could be replaced by Rob Holding in the starting lineup, with half of the Brazilian center facing a race to be in shape after leaving with a knee injury on Saturday.

Mesut Ozil (back) and Lucas Torreira (ankle) also face fitness tests, as does Cedric Soares (nose) who will push to make his debut.

Pablo Mari (ankle), Bernd Leno, Gabriel Martinelli and Calum Chambers (all knee-length) are absent in the long term.

The Norwich fight will give Lukas Rupp (hips), Max Aarons (calf) and Adam Idah (quad) fitness tests ahead of the game at the Emirates stadium.

Timm Klose (suspension) and Moritz Leitner (hernia) will be absent, but Todd Cantwell is unable to play after a problem with a kidnapper.
