Alex Bregman hires super agent Scott Boras .. Because of LeBron James? | AL BAT

After firing agent Brodie Scofield, Astros third baseman Alex Bregman has found the ideal agent to fill in for him. As previously rumored, starting today, the world’s most powerful sports athlete representative, Scott Boras, will be managing the Houston third baseman negotiations. Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reported.

The reason for Alex Bregman’s change of agent is said to be related to Scofield also representing the NBA and Lakers star LeBron James. Rumors suggest Bregman would have been upset by the news that King LeBron-owned production company “Uninterrupted” is working to screen a documentary on television about the Astros cheating and signal theft scandal in 2017.

According to the prestigious columnist of The Athletic, Ken Rosenthal, Bregman did not see favorably the plan of the other client of his former agent, and, therefore, he would have made the decision to change his representative, since that generated a conflict of interest.
