The final event of the season’s world golf championship takes place at TPC Southwind this week with 45 of the world’s top 50 players organizing it Thursday for the no-frills event. The favorites participating in the 2020 WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational are Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas, but there are many other storylines as we make a great two-week stretch for the PGA Tour.
We’ll see if Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson can bounce back from brutal three-week stretches and if Rahm can cling to his number 1 player in world status. There are also US Open points up for grabs for players who are not already qualified. Everyone is playing for something this week in Memphis as the season begins to end but we have probably reached the 10 busiest days of the year starting on Thursday.
