Tyson Fury responds to a social media feud with Dillian Whyte when he reveals a text he sent to ‘Body Snatcher’ in December

Although their social media spit on social media this weekend, there doesn’t always seem to be bad blood between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte.

The heavyweights exchanged a series of verbal punches on Saturday, with Whyte claiming he was going to make Fury cry while sparring.

In the meantime, the “Gypsy King” claimed that the London-born fighter was only famous for his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in December 2015.

Anger continued the feud on Sunday, but there was a twist in the dispute.

A text he allegedly sent to Whyte shortly after the body snatcher’s victory over Mariusz Wach seems to show how Fury reached him.

Whyte’s triumph over Wach was somewhat overshadowed by the controversy over a doping charge that was later dropped.

After the fight, he admitted that he was considering going away from boxing, a feeling Fury is very familiar with when fighting a string of demons during his two and a half year absence from sports.

Fury tweeted: “This is a text I sent @DillianWhyte in December after fighting with Wach. I was worried about him and turned to him.

“And that’s how people treat you when you [sic] nice to you !! By the way, when he was banned years ago, I got him to bring him in … “

The text read: “Hi buddy, just saw an interview with you and you seem to be a bit inside of yourself.

“Hold your chin up, buddy, like you did well last night, with everything that’s going on with you, everything that comes to mind.

“Leave everything behind and smash 2020, this will be your year. God bless.”

What will Whyte’s answer be?
