My season at Honda is a disaster!

MISANO, KOMPAS.com – Jorge Lorenzo did not want to say much about the new Repsol Honda rider, Pol Espargaro. According to Lorenzo every MotoGP rider certainly knows what to do.

As is known Lorenzo retired with Repsol Honda in 2019 only one season after moving from Ducati. At the beginning of the season, Lorenzo was even quite difficult to tame the motorcycle.

“I don’t like to give advice to other MotoGP riders because they are the best of the best, each has their own style and you can compete with many styles,” Lorenzo told MotoGP.com, Saturday (6/27/2020) .

Lorenzo said he could not provide tips on taming the Honda RC231V or how to drive it properly. Because he acknowledged his brief season with Honda was a disaster.

“I also can’t give much advice about driving a Honda because my season is a disaster,” he said.

“First, because Honda was for me a bit too short and then I thought the 2019 motor was complicated, after that I was injured. For this reason everything was a mess,” Lorenzo said.

Rather than giving advice, Lorenzo actually supports Pol. According to him, Pol would be better than him at Repsol Honda, he is a good rider, has talent and most importantly is willing to work hard.

“Pol will certainly do a better season than me. Being on the same level as Marc Marquez. Pol is talented, aggressive, brave so he can do well with Honda,” he said.
