Please be advised that on May 25, 2018, the European Parliament Regulation on the protection of personal data will enter into force throughout the European Union, including Poland. Therefore, we would like to provide you with some information on the principles of processing your personal data by the administrator of the portal www.dziennikwschodni.pl – the company Corner Media sp. What is the GDPR?

Type of personal data processed

We process personal data provided by you during the account registration process on the portal www.dziennikwschodni.pl, as well as data that is collected when you use this portal. It is about data collected and saved in cookies. You can read more about cookies in our privacy policy.

Remember, registering an account on www.dziennikwschodni.pl is not obligatory. You also do not have to provide us with your real data during the registration process, and you do not have to provide us with all the data we ask for. The purpose of processing personal data

Legal grounds for data processing

Information on the right to lodge a complaint

The supervisory body over the personal data administrator is the General Inspector for Personal Data, to which you have the right to lodge a complaint each time your data is processed in an incorrect way in your opinion.

Information on whether the provision of data is a statutory or contractual requirement or whether you are required to provide it

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data or consent to their processing, with the proviso that providing it may be necessary to use certain website functionalities.

It is also possible that if you do not consent to the processing of personal data or withdraw your consent, we will not be able to provide you with access to some of the services we offer, in which case you will always be informed.

Information on profiling

What is profiling? It is collecting all information that allows directly or indirectly to identify the person who is being profiled. Profiling is most often carried out using IT systems, in an automated manner, using special algorithms that take into account the previously defined criteria. Profiling results can be used, among others for marketing purposes, e.g. to personalize advertising directed to a given user or to prepare an offer taking into account his needs or preferences.
