The annual prize was created by the Italian outlet Tuttosport in 2003 since all candidates must be under 21 years of age and play in a major European league

There are 23 Premier League stars on the list, while Borussia Dortmund duo Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, along with Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, are favorites to pick up the gong.

Greenwood has enjoyed a revolutionary season with Manchester United scoring 12 goals in all competitions so far this season.

While Hudson-Odoi has only three goals and five assists for his name in this term, he is highly valued by Chelsea leaders.

And Martinelli, 18, impressed in his England debut campaign with 10 goals for Arsenal.

Barcelona Wonderkid Ansu Fati makes the list together with Arsenal defender William Saliba, who is on loan in Saint-Etienne.

Only four players won the Golden Boy award while trading in the Premier League.

Wayne Rooney (2004), Anderson (2008), Mario Balotelli (2010) and Raheem Sterling (2014) have all been grateful in the past.
