Dortmund drop fresh Sancho hint
Borussia Dortmund manager Lucien Favre has admitted he doesn’t know if Jadon Sancho will stay at the club amid interest from Manchester United.
Although both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ed Woodward have warned that the upcoming transfer window will likely be unrecognisable from previous editions in a post-coronavirus world, United are still prepared to go ahead with their plans this summer.
Solskjaer is hoping to add a playmaker, centre-midfielder and winger to his squad in order to mount a serious Premier League title challenge next season and Sancho is the club’s top target.
Favre was asked about potentially losing some of his star players this summer and this is what he said:
“We’ll see after the season.
“Of course, players will leave. We hope the players will stay, but it is possible that players will leave.
“You have already mentioned two [Achraf Hakimi and Sancho] that we don’t definitely know about.
“Of course, they could stay with us, which would be very good for me. But we’ll see what we’ll do, whether it’s in defence, midfield or attack.”
