Man United signs £ 117 million star as Liverpool decide on £ 90 million defender, McNeil steps up for Solskjaer – reports

The Premier League returned to our television screens earlier this month the first time since March.

Before then, rumors of the move have been a major source of sports news, with teams still aiming to improve their team for the coming season.

However, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, club finances could be heavily affected and this could be one of the quietest windows in terms of the money spent, but the teams are still trying to find deals from all over Europe.

With that in mind, here are the best rumors about today’s Premier League transfers.

Man United to take advantage

The only Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho could leave for this summer is Manchester United.

This according to Bild, who claims that United is the only option because of Sancho’s price. Liverpool have already attracted their interest in the wing, leaving Man United in pole position to finance the deal. Of course, that doesn’t mean that things won’t change in the coming weeks.

United could also move to Burnley Dwight McNeil’s star – which you can read about below.

Liverpool will “offer Lovren” as part of the Koulibaly deal

Liverpool are willing to offer Dejan Lovren to Napoli as part of an agreement for Kalidou Koulibaly according to a report.

The Daily Mail cites Tuttosport in which it states that the Rossi believe they can get Napoli to lower their £ 90 million asking for the price for Koulibaly by offering them Lovren.

Manchester City has also been linked with a move for Koulibaly this summer, as Pep Guardiola appears to be signing a replacement for Vincent Kompany.

Pickford to replace Kepa

Chelsea are reportedly looking at Jordan Pickford as a potential replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

The goalkeeper returned to the Blues side after finding himself out of the team at the start of the season, although speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge continues.

Tutto Mercato Web (via The Express) said Chelsea are looking to sign England number one, with Lampard getting tired of his current goalkeeper’s mixed performances.

Arsenal in advanced talks for Szoboszlai

Arsenal is in advanced talks with Red Bull Salzburg for their midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, according to French journalist Manu Lonjon.

Szoboszlai was reportedly a target for the Gunners last summer and it looks like they will enter for the 19 year old this summer.

The Salzburg midfielder has scored 10 goals this season for the Austrian team, as well as providing 16 assists in all competitions.

However, Arsenal could face tough competition for Szoboszlai, with AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain also interested.

Dyche on McNeil

Dyche reiterated that he expects McNeil to leave the club at some point in the future to improve his career prospects, with Man United already considered a likely destination.

“I think it’s something we’ve encountered before, regardless of age,” admitted Dyche.

“There comes a time when players will eventually leave Burnley because we can only go so far and the club only chooses to go so far – whether it’s contracts or big commissions coming up.

“I don’t think we’ve ever planned to stand up to anyone, but at the same time we are able to maintain our position, on the other hand.”
