Captain Harry Maguire fired Manchester United into the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday with a winner in extra time against ten-man Norwich City on Carrow Road.
The game seemed to be on a penalty shoot-out after Norwich, who knocked out Timm Klose in the 89th minute, had defended excellently against the constant pressure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team two minutes before the end of Maguire’s goal.

Response of the managers:
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Manager at Man Utd: “This is cup football for you. The game wasn’t the best, not the spectacle, but I felt like we kept the ball in order, but we didn’t threaten enough and didn’t create any chances.
“But you’re happy that you’re in the semi-finals. We are in the last four. Good training, we have minutes in a lot of players, we rested a few and scored some nice goals, good for Harry to get the winner. “
Norwich boss Daniel Farke: “We are disappointed with the result. We left our hearts on the pitch to move on to the next round. We wanted to make history.
“I have to compliment my players for their workload, commitment, desire, quality, and the way we handled the game. They were fantastic and we had many periods with the swing on our side and we deserved to win it in 90 minutes.
“The red card was an unfortunate situation and changed the momentum. It feels hard to lose, but the boys can be proud of that achievement. “
