Who is David Prutton tipping midweek for the Sky Bet championship win? Find out here …

Millwall vs Swansea, Tuesday 5 p.m. – Live on Sky Sports football

Millwall has not fully started after the restart, and its play-off ambitions are gradually disappearing. You have to win soon.

Swansea missed a great chance to face Luton at home on Saturday and must return to the track to keep the sides above them from retreating. They are a good site, but it remains to be seen if they can handle Millwall. I imagine a narrow home win here.

Prutton predicts: 1-0 (6/1 with Sky Bet)

Millwall v Swansea

Leeds v Luton, Tuesday 7.45pm

It was a big win for Leeds against Fulham on Saturday. They were temporarily beaten in the first half after taking the lead, but Marcelo Bielsa’s break during the break paid off and it was pleasant in the end. It kept the daylight between itself and the chase.

Luton did an excellent job getting all three points in Swansea. It’s four out of six points under Nathan Jones from two tough games and they’ll have real hopes of survival. They’ll give Elland Road a try, but I feel like they’re stuck.

Prutton predicts: 2-1 (8/1 with Sky Bet)

Preston vs. Derby

July 1, 2020, 4:30 p.m.

Live on

Preston v Derby, Wednesday 5 p.m.

That was a bad result for Preston against a play-off rival on Saturday. There are four losses and a draw in five games on either side of the restart.

Derby is now flying. Four wins in the spin and suddenly they look like a real contender for the play-offs. However, I think Preston will pull himself together a little and draw here.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)

Birmingham v Huddersfield, Wednesday 6pm

Birmingham looked like they were on vacation in the first half against Hull on Saturday, then they showed up and performed excellently in the second. They may have nothing to play, but their season is not over yet.

Huddersfield will be concerned. Danny Cowley was certainly concerned after this defeat in Nottingham Forest. They don’t look like they have a goal in front of them and have fallen into the bottom three places. I think they could be ousted at St. Andrew’s.

Prutton predicts: 1-0 (13/2 with Sky Bet)

Sheffield Wednesday versus West Brom, Wednesday 7.45pm

Sheffield Wednesday was really good on much of the game against Bristol City on Sunday and looked like they were the team that really followed the play-offs.

West Brom will now be concerned. Another defeat and the gap to third place could be closed again. They’re also struggling for goals, and I think they’ll take place until Wednesday.

Prutton predicts: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)

Hull vs Middlesbrough, Thursday 5 p.m. – Live on Sky Sports football

You may not have fought for victory in Birmingham on Saturday, but you must admire Hull and Grant McCann for doing well on his side considering all the problems in the club.

That would have been difficult to call about a week ago, but with Neil Warnock at Club Middlesbrough it’s a whole different matter. I can’t look past them and get all three points.

Prutton predicts: 0-2 (9/1 with Sky Bet)

Hull City vs. M’boro
