Arsenal offers the extension of the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang contract

Arsenal offered new terms to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in an attempt to reject Paris Saint Germain’s interests, writes L’Equipe.

Aubameyang, 30, is approaching the final year of his contract with Arsenal and has attracted the interest of PSG and Real Madrid.

The club is said to have plans to tie the former Borussia Dortmund forward, but according to sports, the French giants believe that a commission between £ 36 million and £ 45 million could induce Arsenal to sell.

The 22-year-old has been linked with moves to Everton and Arsenal in recent weeks, with Toffe failing to reach an agreement. The Gunners were thought to have reached a similar dead end, but according to the Sun through the French outlet Le10Sport, Arsenal has not dropped its interest in the defender.

The report states that Everton had reached an advanced stage of negotiations, but that Arsenal sees him as a potential successor to David Luiz.

The French club is believed to be interested in selling, with Le10Sport arguing that Lille will have to sell the likes of Gabriel, Victor Osimhen and Boubakary Soumare to balance their books.
