Apoloniusz Tajner is still in quarantine. Waiting for test result

– I would like to participate in the presidential election, but I do not know if it will be possible – says Apoloniusz Tajner. The PZN president is waiting for the coronavirus test result and quarantine release. It is also interesting to refer to negative results in jumpers.

– I breathed a sigh of relief after the results of our players and coaches. If any of the boys had a coronavirus, it would introduce a little disturbance to the rhythm of their work, the entire staff and the lives of their families – notes Apoloniusz Tajner.

Adam Małysz announced on June 22 that he was infected with a coronavirus. Prophylactically, it was decided to examine the entire team, despite the fact that the jumpers and coaches had the last contact with Małysz on June 12.

– For all people who have had any contact with Adam, there is no positive result. In connection with this, we are a bit wondering whether sometimes Adam Małysz had a wrong result – surprises the PZN president, adding: – We will see how the next tests will be performed with him.

On Thursday evening, the jumpers finished the training camp in Wisła and went home to their families. They don’t have coronavirus, so no quarantine was needed. Apoloniusz Tajner is in a different situation. The PZN president passed the test on Thursday and is still waiting for the result. He remains in quarantine in an apartment in Krakow, because he later had contact with Małysz than the other staff.

– I’m at home all the time. I only go out to the balcony. I’ve worked a lot in recent months. Also, such a rest definitely came in handy. I would like the result to come and I will be released from quarantine, because it’s time to go back to the outside world – emphasizes the president of PZN.

The coronavirus test results may also depend on whether Apolonius Tajner will be able to cast his vote in the first round of Sunday’s presidential election. If the president had a positive result, he would remain in quarantine and would no longer be able to vote traditionally at the polling place or by mail.

– I would like to participate in the presidential election, but I do not know if it will be possible. I cannot take part in the voting by correspondence because I have not completed the formalities before. It all depends on the result of the test and whether I will be released from quarantine – notes.

In an interview for WP SportoweFakty, the president of the Polish Ski Association also presented the nearest plans for Polish jumpers.

– The next grouping, which is to last seven days, is planned from July 5 in Slovenian Planica. Our jumpers will not have to go to the place of the two-week quarantine, because they are freshly tested. We are sure that they will be admitted to Slovenia without any problems.
