Watford’s Nathaniel Chalobah, Domingos Quina and Andre Gray were all dropped

Andre Gray, Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina were excluded from Watford’s roster after an alleged lockdown party to face Southampton “to ensure the health and safety of all players, staff and officials”.

The trio’s omission comes after the club opened an investigation into allegations that two of their players had violated the government’s blocking rules by attending a gathering at Andre Gray’s house on Friday evening.

Social media posts claim that teammate Quina was one of the participants in the house party that took place on the striker’s birthday.

In a story by The athleteWatford officials are described as “disappointed” by the violation that has occurred in a number of videos on Gray’s Instagram that have since been deleted.

A statement on the club’s website states: “Andre Gray, Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina have been removed from Watford’s squad by Nigel Pearson to ensure the health and safety of all players, staff and officials in today’s game.”
