AMP.- Football / First.- (Chronicle) Villarreal remains the derby for Europe with Valencia

Eibar wins (1-2) in Granada and complicates the salvation of Mallorca, Leganés and Espanyol

MADRID, 28 (EUROPA PRESS)

Villarreal was better and won (2-0) in the derby against Valencia on Match day 32 of LaLiga Santander held this Sunday at the Estadio de La Cerámica, a shock for the common goal of the European zone of the table, while from below Eibar won and took down the three teams in decline.

The ‘submarine’ is still the best after the break, with 13 points out of 15, to be fifth in the absence of the end of the day. On the other hand, in Valencia the final stretch of the season comes with a storm surge, with news of disputes between players and Celades and a game that has been falling, such as its position in the table.

Alcácer and Gerard Moreno scored both goals in the first half, while Cazorla owned the game. The veteran midfielder moved his team and unsettled the rival, with less rest and ideas. The back of the visiting defender did not understand the game of a Villarreal who aspires to hunt down the Champions area, an area that Valencia already has eight points behind.

EIBAR STANDS OUT OF THE DESCENT

On the other hand, the day this Sunday left the victory at home, something that did not do for almost eight months, of Eibar in Granada (1-2). The Basques went ahead twice in Los Cármenes. De Blasis punished the indecision of the local defense with 0-1, but after the break the anger was for Mendilibar, with the blunder behind that allowed the shot alone by Soldado (1-1).

Granada improved and commanded while Eibar seemed to exhaust their forces, but always with Orellana hanging around the danger for the gunsmiths. After forgiving a very clear, Kike took revenge with the 1-2. Carlos Fernández had it for the Andalusians and also De Blasis for the Basques, without changing the victory of an Eibar with 35 points. Salvation is now marked by Celta with 34, eight above Mallorca.

With six days to go, Levante can now breathe easy after beating Real Betis (4-2) at the Olympic Camilo Cano de La Nucía (Alicante) to ensure their stay in the First Division. The Andalusians, who reacted to Rubi’s dismissal with a win against Espanyol on Thursday, shouted again for the end of the course. Loren had a first visiting approach but Borja Mayoral put the locals ahead.

Those of Paco López confirmed their effectiveness in the 35th minute, when Enis Bardhi made the second in the second arrival of the match in a cross shot that Joel did not reach. Alexis Trujillo gave Tello and Juanmi entrance in the restart to try to turn the game around, but Morales put an end to the Betis hopes; Campaign assisted the diagonal to the ‘Commander’, who haggled the rival goalkeeper to end the duel (min.51).

With Paco López’s untied, Rochina met Feddal in a shot on goal, but took advantage of the rebound to, this time, send the ball to the back of the net (min.60). A left-footed shot by Canales, in the 70th minute, and another by Juanmi, in the 87th, closed the gap, but defensive errors during most of the match made the Andalusians leave La Nucía empty.
