AC Milan and Chelsea in the Premier League are “studying” the ideal of a possible swap contract involving two midfielders, according to a report.
According to the source of transfer Louis Girardi On Twitter, the Rossoneri and West London are thinking about the possibility of an exchange agreement that would see Lucas Paqueta move to England and Tiemoue Bakayoko on the other side.
Bakayoko spent a period on loan in Milan last season and became a fan favorite, although the club did not exercise its purchase option and was subsequently loaned to Monaco last summer.
The Frenchman admitted the shock last month prefers Milan to Chelsea club during a video interview last month, and Corriere dello Sport reported on Tuesday he would gladly return to Milan.
However, Monaco will have to pay around 40 million euros to Chelsea to make his loan permanent, while the 25-year-old earns a net annual salary of 3 million euros.
In the meantime Paqueta was in the middle of a storm after losing his place in the starting XI with the change in formation of the head coach Stefano Pioli.
The former man from Flamengo – who arrived a year ago with an agreement of 35 million euros – asked not to be called for last month’s trip to Brescia after being reported by numerous outlets that he was treated for stress and anxiety .
Despite rumors of Paris Saint-Germain interest, he emerged late from the window through the TMW outlet Milan had in fact offered Fiorentina the opportunity to sign Paqueta until the end of the season, but in the end it stayed.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea and Milan can agree on a mutually beneficial exchange involving the two players, who have a total value of € 75 million based on the above fees.
