Real Oviedo has opted for José Ángel Ziganda although he had not trained for two years.
Real Oviedo formalized the arrival of José Ángel ‘Cuco’ Ziganda on the bench of his first team on Tuesday night after the dismissal of Javi Rozada hours earlier.
The Navarrese coach will direct his first training as a blue coach this Wednesday first thing in El Requexón.
The carbayón club opted for the coach of Larrainzar, who signs until the end of the season, to face the last 14 days of the League, in which the permanence in the category will be played.
Ziganda will be accompanied by Bingen Arostegui on the bench as second coach and will keep by his side the rest of the coaching staff that Javi Rozada had, physical trainer Alberto Martinez, goalkeeper coach Sergio Segura and analyst Jaime Arias.
The hitherto second coach, Javier Benavides, will remain linked to the club in tasks that according to Real Oviedo itself will be defined “in the coming days”.
The new Real Oviedo coach will take the reins of the team on Wednesday at 10:45 am in the planned training behind closed doors, and will be presented at 1:30 pm at Carloa Tartiere.
The Navarrese will have four sessions, all of them behind closed doors, to prepare the vital encounter of the Blues against Lugo, a team with which the carbayón team is currently playing permanence.
