Exit of Kai Havertz

The 20-year-old has remained loyal to Leverkusen but Hongistein says it is a “certainty” that the midfielder will leave at the end of this season.

“In practice, he has already passed this team and will surely move in the summer,” Honigstein told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“The valuation won’t be significantly lower than last summer, which was well north of € 100 million, perhaps even £ 100 million, that type of price range.”
