Two more names in the mix
The search for an Aston Villa striker is now entering its second week, with Dean Smith eager to make a deal.
It is understood that the Villa boss was anxious to sign an attacker before the match against Manchester City.
However, they were unable to complete a transfer before Sunday’s 6-1, with Smith forced to nominate an initial lineup without an attacker for the second consecutive game.
A number of names have been linked with a move to B6, including Christian Benteke, Michy Batshuayi and Eddie Nketiah.
Now reports from Italy have said that the sports director of Villa Jesus Garcia Pitarch has identified two Napoli players to resolve the growing crisis.
ArenaNapoli said that Suso featured former Spurs man Fernando Llorente and former Real Madrid star Jose Callejon.
