Manchester United and Tottenham are expected to face tough competition for Lille midfielder Boubakay Soumare, as the French club has reportedly already received six offers for the requested player.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has been linked with United and Tottenham in the past six months and appears to have sparked interest across Europe.
Lille declined an offer of £ 34 million for Wolves’ midfielder in the summer and is expected to value the player in the region of £ 50 million.
Lille has reportedly received six offers for the target of Man United and Spurs, Boubakary Soumare
According to the French publication L’Equipe, cited by Get Football News France, Lille has six different club offers in store for Soumare.
There is no indication as to which clubs have submitted an offer for the Frenchman, but Naples, Real Madrid, Valencia and Manchester City have previously been linked with him along with United and Tottenham.
Soumare has made 23 appearances for Lille this season and has the key to the bee to help them win a challenge for the Champions League posts in Ligue 1.
Lille are currently in fourth place and understandably will be reluctant to part with such an important part of their team this month.
Reports claim, however, that they would be open for sale in Soumare, provided that it will be loaned out immediately for the duration of this season, as they seek to secure European football for the next term.
