The future of Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has been a hot topic for past relocation windows.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with the Dutchman, while Manchester United and Real Madrid have also been named potential suitors for the midfielder, who impressed Ajax for last season’s Champions League semifinals.
He was heavily tied to a move in the summer, and was on the radar for Real Madrid after helping Ajax unload the La Liga giants from the Champions League last season.
A move did not materialize in the summer, but there is new speculation about its future in the January relocation window before a possible move from Holland.

Below, we take a look at the latest news on the future of the 22 year old.
What the player said
With Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United all interested, along with Real Madrid, van de Beek is certainly not short of options when it comes to his next team.
But Ajax desperately needs to hold him back this month and the player himself has insisted that no deal will be concluded in January.
“I don’t want to leave during the winter break,” Van de Beek told Voetbal International .
“I play here all season, I end up at Ajax this year. This gives me clarity and tranquility. I will see what will happen next.
“Maybe one day in my career it will happen that you change clubs during the winter break, but now I don’t like it.”
Arsenal and Spurs have given a boost
Former Ajax star Hedwiges Maduro believes the midfielder would be a perfect signature for Arsenal or Tottenham.
Ajax sold Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt in the summer, but managed to retain Van de Beek despite the interest of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
But Maduro believes that a move to London or another Spanish club can better suit the midfielder.
“Van de Beek is on the same level as [former Everton midfielder Davy] Klaassen, “Maduro told the Dutch broadcaster NOS in the summer.
“He is also a good player, but his next choice will be important.
“In Manchester City or Barcelona, he could play the same football style as Ajax, but I think it would be too high for him.”
Real Madrid closes with a move from £ 47 million
Donny van de Beek has been strongly connected with a departure from Ajax and his future could soon be resolved.
As reported by De Telegraaf, an agreement is underway for him to join Real Madrid, with the transfer expected to take place in the summer with a commission of approximately € 55 million (£ 47 million).
It was reported that Real Madrid had an agreement with the player in the summer, but that the deal failed.
However, they have now revived their interest as they seek a long-term replacement for Luka Modric and it has been reported by Marca that an agreement is now in effect for van de Beek to move to the Spanish capital in June.
