Problems for Jürgen Klinsmann and Hertha BSC. The trainer’s license for the trainer is said to have expired, which means he will probably not be able to take a seat next Sunday against Bayern Munich.
Various German media report this, including BILD. Klinsmann would no longer have a valid trainer’s license to be allowed to compete in the Bundesliga and may therefore not be allowed to sit in the dug-out at Hertha against Bayern. The trainer and club must be able to submit a valid trainer’s license before the duel with Bayern. She has not yet succeeded in this.
Klinsmann obtained his license in 2000 by following a special course with the German Football Association. This license must be renewed every three years by completing a 20-hour training at the DFB. This was known to Hertha and Klinsmann for a long time, but why no action has yet been taken to renew his license BILD not clear.
