Hawks acquires Jeff Teague from Timberwolves for Allen Crabbe, Treveon Graham

The Atlanta Hawks are acquiring Minnesota top guard Timberwolves Jeff Teague in a three-player trade, according to ESPN reports.

Minnesota is also sending Hawks’ guard Treveon Graham into an agreement that moves guard Allen Crabbe to the Timber Wolves, according to league sources. Minnesota creates an open list post which could be useful in larger operations before the February 6 deadline.

The Hawks patrolled the market looking for an escort guard to ease the burden on Trae Young. The Hawks have an offensive score of 108.2 with Young on the floor and a discount of 90.7.

Teague and Crabbe have expiring contracts. Teague, 31, played the first seven years of his career with Atlanta.

Graham, 26, averaged five points and three rebounds.
