UNITED IDENTIFY ATLETICO STAR FOR LOAN MOVE
It would appear that Manchester United are looking to sign two midfielders this month. One is Bruno Fernandes; the other is probably a loan option while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks for a temporary solution to Scott McTominay who is suffering an injury and Paul Pogba isn’t being hurried.
The Manchester evening news computes Marcos Llorente it could be that loan signature. Their report suggests that United are watching midfielders fighting for playing time in European clubs with big teams and Llorente certainly meets this specification.
The 24-year-old has only started three La Liga games for Atletico Madrid this season after his £ 35m move through the Spanish capital from Real in the summer. With Saul Niguez, Thomas Keye, Hector Herrera and Koke facing Llorente in ascending order, Atletico may be willing to let him go until the end of the season.
BANK OF THE WEST HAM ON THE CONCERN OF BARLEY
Ross Barkley is in a situation similar to Llorente. His departure in Chelsea’s midfield last weekend against Burnley was his first in the Premier League since October, which could be a concern for England with Euro 202o on the way.
This is what David Moyes seems to be aiming for. The mirror says West Ham manager hopes Barkley can be attempted across London in a loan move until the end of the season.
Moyes is looking elsewhere Tottenham beat West Ham to Gedson Fernandes.
ARSENAL EYE DEFENDER PSG
Mikel Arteta has rejected the news that John Stones wants to bring to Arsenal, that is Such a pity. But the Gunners’ boss is certainly on the market to strengthen his defense this month.
The sun reports that Arsenal are trying to anticipate a move for PSG’s left back Layvin Kurzawa with Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney both crouching.
Kurzawa is out of contract in the summer, when Arsenal hoped to collect the 27-year-old for free. The Gunners are said to be willing to give £ 6m to PSG to leave the French national team at 14 appearances in advance of midseason.
