Clément Noël confidently wins the exhibition slalom in Crans-Montana in front of Ramon Zenhäusern and Marc Rochat.

After the first run it was already clear that victory at the Exhibition Nocturne in Crans-Montana would lead to Clément Noël. The Frenchman made a strong appearance and was already in the lead at half-time. The 22-year-old no longer gave up this lead and secured prize money of CHF 20,000.

Zenhaeuser and Rochat convince

Noel came closest to two Swiss. Ramon Zenhaeuser advanced from 6th to 2nd place in race 2 (+0.69), Marc Rochat defended his position from the 1st round and finished third, 1.23 seconds back.

Daniel Yule, who last won the two slaloms in Madonna di Campiglio and Adelboden, was eliminated in the second run. The same fate suffered Tanguy Nef, who was still fifth at half-time.

Strong field of participants

No World Cup points were distributed during the night race in Valais. There was a total of 40,000 francs to be won. Since part of the international slalom elite trains between the World Cup races in Adelboden and Wengen in Crans-Montana, the exhibition was heavily staffed with 5 athletes from the first 7 of the Slalom World Cup.
