In the previous lap, Elfyn Evans was the strongest, thus returning to 5s4 from the leader Thierry Neuville. Sébastien Ogier and Ott Tänak are also very close.


Great novelty of this edition with a pass at more than 1200 meters in elevation. The stopwatch begins with very narrow portions, then the profile becomes faster but nevertheless technical.


Perfectly launched into a four-way fight from the start, Ott Tänak goes out at very high speed and sends his Hyundai i20 WRC in barrels. Unscathed following this outing, just like his co-driver, the 2019 world champion must give up.

For Elfyn Evans, everything is fine, however, with a second consecutive scratch which allows him to take the lead in this Monte-Carlo, 3s4 ahead of Thierry Neuville, still average in this time, and 5s5 on Sébastien Ogier.

Very interesting in SS3, Sébastien Loeb loses some ground this time but consolidates his position in front of Esapekka Lappi.

In WRC-2, Ole Christian Veiby keeps the overall advantage well while Adrien Fourmaux has just achieved a remarkable time, the 9th absolute and ten seconds ahead of the competition.

In WRC-3, Eric Camilli retains control despite a steering problem, only ten small seconds ahead of Stéphane Sarrazin, still as regular. Nice performance also from Nicolas Ciamin, the author of his best time since the start.
