    CHELSEA, MASSA. (WHDH) – Chelsea police are looking for a truck driver who is said to have hit and injured a pedestrian on Wednesday before fleeing the scene.

    The agents respond to a walkway on Broadway and Everett Avenue at approximately 4:00 pm. he found the 28-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be non-fatal injuries, according to a tweet from Chelsea police chief Brian Kyes. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.

    Surveillance cameras from a nearby company show that the accident occurred.

    The victim can be seen standing and walking on the sidewalk after the collision.

    The vehicle that hit the victim, described as a new Ford F150 pickup model, fled the scene and crossed Cross Street to Park Square, according to Kyes. Police are currently reviewing the city cameras in an attempt to identify the truck and its owner.
