Arsenal target Bruno Guimaraes broke the silence about a potential transfer as the midfielder’s run for services heats up in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder from Athletico Paranese emerged as a target for Mikel Arteta as he tries to strengthen his ranks at the Emirates Stadium, with news that Edu held talks with the player’s representatives in London last week.
However, they are not the only clubs interested in a move for the midfielder, as Lyon and Benfica are both attributed with an interest in high-level talent.
Now, Guimaraes has broken the silence about a potential transfer and has stated that a decision on his next club is a difficult choice to make.

“What I asked my agents was that the transfer is positive for me and for Athletico Paranaense. I know the clubs are in talks, it’s difficult to choose. They are all great teams,” he told SporTV via Metro.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed his club’s interest in signing the midfielder, but he’s not the only player France is chasing.
He said: “We are also in talks for a midfielder in England. We have to negotiate both at the same time, but we will only take one. Both are excellent.”
