Too much defeat for Manuel Pellegrini. The 66-year-old Chilean coach was relieved of his coaching duties at West Ham this Saturday, hours after a loss to Leicester (1-2), on match day 20 of the English Premier League. The name of his successor is not yet known. After having officiated at the head of River Plate, Real Madrid or Manchester City, among others, Pellegrini had taken the reins of the Hammers, current 17th in the Premier League, in May 2018.
