Villa has given a big boost to the move
Darren Bent says Jarrod Bowen may be eager to join Aston Villa because of his father’s loyalty to the club.
But the former Villa striker believes the club’s illustrious history and size may be enough to attempt the Hull City hot-shot at Villa Park.
Bowen has been linked with claret and blue as well as Premier League rivals Southampton, Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion.
West Ham United also received an interest in the 23-year-old, as well as in Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Villa hopes to steal gear on Leeds in pursuit of the transfer
Villa was once again connected in a move to midfielder Rangers Glen Kamara.
The Finnish International has been in excellent shape since its move to the Ibrox in January of this year and Scottish giants could now try to cash in.
Villa is believed to be on the market for a midfielder after John McGinn fractured his ankle in Southampton’s defeat earlier this month.
A report in the Daily Mail (via HITC) stated that Dean Smith indicated Kamara as his main target for filling the hole left in McGinn’s absence and that Smith is eager to close a deal when opening the window.
