University Football Calendar Week 11: What are the matches of today? TV channels, weather, scores for the top 25

The 11th week of the college football season has arrived and it's easily the biggest of all the year.

The star is the "Game of the Century" between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The top two teams will fight decisive shots between the faults of the elite. The winner has the green light for a playoff bid for college football, while the loser may need luck to reach the playoffs.

Two other ranked matches will be played on Saturday. In the Big Ten, an unbeaten showdown between No. 5 Penn State and No. 13 Minnesota gets things moving at noon. Minnesota can claim its legitimate threat status in the playoffs while Penn State tries to stay the course. Wisconsin, number 18, is the last player ranked Saturday in a match between two Big Ten defeats.
