The Scottish Rugby Union (SRU) has accepted its £ 70,000 fine for comments from CEO Mark Dodson during the World Cup.
The union was also formally reprimanded for Dodson's comments.
Tensions rose during the recent tournament in Japan when Scotland's most important group clash with the hosts was threatened by Typhoon Hagibis.
As Scotland needs to win the game to have a chance of progression, Dodson said at a press conference that he did not want his side to be "collateral damage" at the outcome of Typhoon.
World Rugby says SRU has "expressed its regret" and will not appeal the decision.
